Acoustic Consultant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Acoustic Consultant to join our team at findapprenticeships.co - Jobboard. As an Acoustic Consultant, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of our infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership, and developing the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced consultants, fostering their growth and development.
  3. Develop business opportunities, negotiate with clients and contractors, and establish strong relationships to drive business growth.
  4. Respond to client inquiries, communicate effectively, and draft fee proposals to secure new business.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified to degree level in acoustics or a related discipline.
  2. MIOA certification.
  3. Full driving license.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Considerable post-graduate experience in environmental and/or building acoustics.
  2. Previous experience in acoustic consultancy for infrastructure, including rail projects.
  3. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  4. Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
  5. Good working knowledge of relevant codes of practice and industry standards.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively and commercially.
  7. Highly motivated, conscientious, and diligent with attention to detail.
  8. Flexible and willing to take on new challenges.
  9. Previous project management and business development experience.
