Senior Acoustic Consultant

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Acoustic Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects and providing technical leadership to less experienced consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the management of multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support to junior consultants, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  3. Develop business opportunities, building relationships with clients and contractors to drive new business growth in the acoustics sector.
  4. Respond to client inquiries, communicate effectively, and draft fee proposals to secure new projects.
Requirements
  1. Qualified to degree level in acoustics or a related field.
  2. MIOA certification and a full driving license.
  3. Considerable post-graduate experience in environmental and/or building acoustics.
  4. Proven track record of delivering acoustic consultancy services to infrastructure and rail projects.
  5. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  6. Numerate, literate, and familiar with IT and software relevant to the project tasks.
  7. Good working knowledge of relevant codes of practice and industry standards.
  8. Ability to communicate effectively and commercially aware.
  9. Highly motivated, conscientious, and diligent with attention to detail.
  10. Flexible and prepared to take on new challenges.
