Gregory Distribution is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of operatives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of operatives in the warehouse, providing guidance and support to ensure the efficient and safe operation of warehouse activities.
- Operate counterbalance and reach trucks, loading and unloading vehicles, and completing checks for goods in and equipment.
- Pick and prepare orders, and direct a team of operatives on a daily basis, dealing with problems as they arise and escalating when required.
- Complete various checks in the warehouse, on individuals, on MHE and equipment, and maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
- Reach and counterbalance licence is essential.
- Ideal experience of working within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Experience with MHE, good communication and team working skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, basic numeracy and literacy skills, and ability to work on own initiative.
- Basic salary for Warehouse Team Leader with enhanced MHE of £30,856pa, based on Monday to Friday.
- Hours of work are: 07:00hrs - 17:00hrs, 9.5 hours worked per shift.
