Warehouse Team Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of warehouse operatives to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, with a strong track record of team management and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
