Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets and objectives.
- Operate counterbalance and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload vehicles, completing checks for goods in and equipment.
- Pick and prepare orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Direct and motivate a team of operatives, addressing problems and escalating issues as necessary.
- Conduct regular checks on warehouse equipment, MHE, and personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Requirements:
- Valid reach and counterbalance license.
- Previous experience in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Experience with MHE and warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
