Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance and reach trucks to move goods around the warehouse
- Load and unload vehicles to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Conduct checks on goods and equipment to ensure quality and safety standards
- Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
- Lead a team of operatives, providing guidance and support as needed
- Complete various checks and reports to ensure compliance with company procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Reach and counterbalance license is essential
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a temperature-controlled environment
- Experience with MHE and good communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
