Job Opportunity

Step Teachers is working with a school that prioritizes the well-being and success of its students. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2/3 Teacher to join their team from September 2024, for a long-term supply role. The successful candidate will be supporting a class of enthusiastic and well-behaved Primary level pupils, contributing to a positive and safe educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that cater to the needs of students.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members to provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their development.
  • Comply with the school's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent experience as a Primary level Supply Teacher – Key Stage 1.
  • Demonstrate good classroom and behavior management skills.
