Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at eTeach UK Limited. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential learning and accessibility support to young people and adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities- Support the team to provide person-centred learning support to students with severe and complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
- Facilitate students' access to and achievement of learning programmes, supporting their access to all College services and College-led activities.
- Encourage students to engage with activities or work independently, promoting their personal development and educational outcomes.
- Provide support with personal care and mobility, taking instructions from learners regarding their support needs.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with students, teachers, parent/carers, and other agencies involved with the students.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, teachers, parent/carers, and other agencies involved with the students.
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and an understanding of safeguarding and discrimination issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills combined with good IT knowledge and sound administration skills.
