Alecto Recruitment is looking for a skilled Fleet Repair and Maintenance Professional to join their team in Nottingham. As an HGV Technician, you will play a key role in managing fleet repairs and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and maintenance of the HGV fleet to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and transporting them to the Test Centre.
  • Minor accident damage repair and fault diagnosis to identify mechanical issues.
  • Proactive solution implementation to address mechanical problems.
  • Ensuring optimal condition of fleet components, including vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Desirable: Previous experience in a similar HGV technician or mechanical role.
