Operations Management Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Operations Management Trainee to join our team at Arriva Durham County Limited. As an Operations Management Trainee, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of our Company Health and Safety Policy and compliance with statutory health and safety obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety: Ensure the site team delivers exceptional service in line with stakeholder requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Business Relationships: Foster business relationships crucial to local performance and collaborate with Local Authorities.
- Customer Service: Ensure timely and thorough responses to customer complaints, taking appropriate actions to prevent recurrence.
- Lost Property: Maintain secure management and storage of lost property.
- Organisational Culture: Promote Arriva's values and support an organisational culture of Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion (ED&I).
- Site Management: Collaborate with the Site Manager to ensure the site has adequate resources, capability, and competence.
- Team Motivation: Motivate and engage site teams to achieve high performance and effective collaboration.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Forge strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including the Trade Union.
- Operational Compliance: Support the delivery of outstanding service and operational compliance.
- Business Performance: Work with the commercial team to continuously review networks and customer feedback.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to processes and systems.
- Change Management: Act as a Change Agent and Value Creator, driving operational excellence through innovation.
- Reputation and Values: Uphold and promote the reputation and values of Arriva in all business relationships and activities.
