Engineering Project Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. This role will be responsible for delivering capital projects on time, within budget, and meeting the defined scope.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage site capital projects from initiation to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and manage communication plans to ensure effective project execution.
  • Support other members of the project team in achieving project objectives.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources to meet project requirements.
  • Create project schedules and timelines to track progress.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Present reports on project progress and issues to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and implement changes as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Degree-educated or equivalent with a strong technical background.
  • Project Management qualification (Prince2) or equivalent.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
  • Experience as a project manager with a budget exceeding £1M.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Desirable experience in the food industry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-site business environment.
  • Excellent planning, organising, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Salary:

$75,000 - $100,000 per year.
