Locum Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Learning Disability Service as a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with learning disabilities, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to promote the safety and well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and management of patients with learning disabilities
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements and quality initiatives
- Participate in teaching and training of junior staff and students
- Engage in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes and service delivery

Person Specification- Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
- On the Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Learning Disabilities or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
- Teaching qualification/Higher qualification in medical education
