Job Description:

As an SME Business Development Executive, you will work closely with our Head of Broker Sales and Business Development Managers to deliver exceptional customer service, build strong relationships with introducers, and drive new business growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Introducers: Provide product expertise and articulate the Bank's current lending appetite to panel introducer firms.
  • Lending Opportunities: Review commercial mortgage lending opportunities and provide indicative terms.
  • New Business Development: Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to develop new business, resolve issues for existing brokers, potential brokers, and potential customers.
  • Account Management: Proactively manage assigned brokerage accounts.
Requirements:
  • Skillset: Strong technical skills, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and a sound understanding of commercial property lending and credit risk.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record in sourcing and developing introducers in SME and commercial banking.
  • Credit Risk Management: Excellent ability to analyze and review financial accounts and associated information, structure new commercial lending proposals, and write commercial property credit applications.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
