Residential Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Essex County Council.
About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with children and families to ensure the delivery of good quality care
- Manage challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and external partners
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to complete within 2 years)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
