About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electoral Services Manager to join our team at Hammersmith & Fulham Council. As a key member of our electoral services team, you will play a pivotal part in the delivery of elections and voter registration in our borough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Electoral Services Manager in the strategic planning and organisation of electoral registration, the annual electoral registration canvass, and elections.
  • Work closely with the electoral services team to ensure the smooth delivery of electoral services, including voter registration and elections.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local residents, community groups, and other council departments.
  • Provide advice and guidance on electoral law and procedures to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to electoral services.
Requirements
  • Substantial knowledge of electoral law and procedures.
  • Experience of working in electoral services, including voter registration and elections.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
