NHS Pay Scale: £52,530 - £82,400 FTE

Working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
(+1:5 out of hours on-call)
Main Duties of the Job
As a Specialty Doctor in Palliative Medicine, you will be part of a well-established, friendly and professional multi-disciplinary team dedicated to making every moment matter for those in our care.
You will be based in the beautiful surroundings of our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester, and as required, work in an outpatient or community setting.
Working part-time (3 days a week), you will usually work from 9am until 5pm, allowing you the space and time that patients and families need.
You will form part of the Weldmar Hospicecare on-call rota, which is non-resident and provides cover for the inpatient unit, 1:5, including weekends.
You will have full GMC registration with a license to practice and will have completed four years of full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme.
Salary will be according to experience and qualification in line with new NHS SAS Contracts.
