Sous Chef

You'll be a key member of our kitchen team, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food and service. As a Sous Chef, you'll be responsible for leading and engaging the team to achieve high standards, ensuring the kitchen runs effectively and safely. You'll be leading shifts, managing stock, and upholding 5* kitchen standards. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.

What we're looking for

  • You'll be an existing Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager looking to take the next step in your career.
  • You'll have experience of working with fresh ingredients and be able to demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices).
  • You'll be driven and relentless in your approach, with a strong work ethic and ability to lead from the front.
  • You'll have a strong knowledge of best practice around rota scheduling, sales and labour forecasts, reporting, recruitment, HR etc.
  • You'll have demonstrated successful delivery of training and recruitment for kitchen teams including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs and Sous Chefs.
