Job Title: Packer (Printed Packaging Production)

GBR Recruitment Ltd is working in partnership with a highly progressive and modern print and packaging business to recruit experienced packers to box up finished packaging products, ready for dispatch to end-users.

The client is seeking two permanent packers to work on a rotating 6-2 / 2-10 shift pattern, Monday to Friday, initially starting on fixed days while training.

This is a great opportunity to join a business that looks after its employees and one that will offer further career development as it grows year on year.

Duties:

  • Packing finished packaging products ready for distribution to customers
  • Carrying out quality control checks on finished products
  • Labelling and sealing boxes ready for dispatch
  • Shrink-wrapping pallets
  • Completing paperwork
  • General duties as requested, supporting stores and print production

Requirements:

  • Previous packing experience from within a fast-paced environment
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, or stores experience
  • Quality control experience (ensuring products meet specifications)
  • Used to working shifts and happy to work shift patterns
  • Print or packaging industry experience would be ideal

Interviews for the packer roles are to take place immediately, with an immediate start for the right calibre applicant.
