Night Shift Role

We are seeking a Packaging Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This role is focused on the night shift, contributing to our operational excellence.
The primary objective of this position is to efficiently assemble and package products to achieve set production goals while adhering to stringent safety and quality protocols. You will be accountable for meeting manufacturing performance benchmarks by following established procedures and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing health, safety, environmental standards, quality, cost-effectiveness, delivery, and team growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble packaging materials and ensure finished products are packed appropriately. Replenish supplies on production lines as needed.
- Operate packaging machinery after receiving adequate training and demonstrating proficiency. Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent performance.
- Document and track packaging metrics, focusing on output and compliance with production plans.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and participate in daily operational meetings. Actively engage in safety, quality, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Possess a solid understanding of operational systems and procedures, performing all tasks safely and reporting any concerns through the proper channels.
- Exhibit a basic comprehension of the business model and the role of supply chain and packaging operations within the overall strategy.
Key Requirements:
- Candidates should demonstrate competency in numeracy to interpret work orders, safety documentation, and production records, as well as manipulate data as necessary.
- Must possess physical dexterity and the ability to work efficiently, accurately, and safely.
- Previous experience in the chemical filling and packaging sector is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating with colleagues to meet both individual and team objectives. Problem-solving abilities are also crucial.
