We are seeking an exceptional Senior Mental Health Consultant to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans and interventions for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Contribute to the development of our mental health services, including policy and procedure development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Engage in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments

Requirements:

  • CCST/CCT or equivalent in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a valid GMC registration
  • Proven experience in managing complex mental health cases and leading a team of healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
