Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Veolia. As a key member of our property and environmental team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining asset value, ensuring compliance with legislation, and managing lease obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with providing Building Surveying support for our operational business, including dilapidation assessments, negotiation of dilapidation claims, and management of works required to properties at lease expiry.
  • Prepare and agree Condition Surveys on new property acquisitions, and procure new works from initial scheme to Final Account.
  • Manage Asbestos legislative requirements, coordinate retained consultant and removal works, and manage CDM requirements.
  • Advise on building conditions, improvement works, and budgetary forecasts for new property acquisitions and M&A projects.
  • Prepare and submit Planning and Building Regulation applications, including producing drawings and making amendments to plans on the CAD system.
Requirements
  • Previous proven experience as a Building surveyor working for a large organisation is preferable.
  • Driving licence required.
