Key Responsibilities:
COSHH and Risk Assessments: Develop and implement compliant solutions for COSHH and Risk Assessments, ensuring effective communication with all relevant parties.
Risk Assessment Support: Contribute to risk assessments for site projects, ensuring thorough and accurate evaluations.
Legislative Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of workplace safety by ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
Health and Safety Culture: Drive a proactive health and safety culture by conducting regular audits on processes, supplies, and employee behavior.
Skills and Experience Required:
NEBOSH Certificate: A mandatory requirement for this role.
Chemical Handling Experience: Prior knowledge and experience of chemical handling in a manufacturing and laboratory setting would be advantageous.
Manufacturing Environment Experience: Experience in health and safety within a manufacturing environment and health and safety contractor management is desirable.
Communication Skills: Ability to provide clear, concise, and compliant solutions and training to relevant parties.
