About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant to join our care team at We Care Group. As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity, independence, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Health Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Administer medication to residents as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with daily activities, maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Ensure residents receive personalized care, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Engage with residents in social and recreational activities, fostering a sense of community and well-being.
  • Support the Home Manager with tasks as necessary, contributing to the smooth operation of the care home.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns, upholding the highest standards of care and protection.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a Senior HCA, with a strong understanding of care industry principles and practices.
  • NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
