We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team in Cumbria. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and their families.

About the Job

This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for assessing and working with children and families, intervening where necessary to provide support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop individual care plans, taking account of diversity and promoting dignity and empowerment.
  • Use your skills, knowledge, and experience to make full assessments of risks, protection, and social care needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • SW, CSS, DipSW or Social Work Degree.
  • Highly skilled at building meaningful relationships with children and families.
Working Conditions and Salary

The role requires attendance at the locality for 3 days per week and working from home for 2 days. The estimated salary for this role is £50 per hour.
