Supporting Learners with Special Educational Needs

We are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a variety of schools, colleges, and outreach programs. These roles offer a range of contract types, from temporary to permanent positions, and provide opportunities to work with learners who require specific support and training.

Our SEN provisions cater to learners with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), offering a calm and nurturing environment with a holistic approach to education. We also have roles available for staff with a care home background, as the pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) require specific training in manual handling and peg feeding.

In addition to these roles, we have colleges and Post 16 sites seeking Learning Support Assistants to work with vulnerable young adults and help them achieve their potential while studying Functional Skills and vocational courses. If you are a teaching assistant or HLTA looking for a new challenge, please get in touch to discuss these opportunities.

As a Teaching Assistant in our SEN team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of learners and develop your skills in supporting students with complex needs. We welcome applications from candidates with a care background or experience working with vulnerable young adults, as their transferable knowledge and skills are highly valued in these roles.

Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss these roles further and learn more about the opportunities available.
