Teaching Vacancy Overview
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at Tenbury CE Primary Academy. As part of the Diocese of Hereford Multi-Academy Trust, we strive to provide a nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.

Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £25,925 per annum (based on a 39-week contract), as well as access to a range of benefits including a cycle to work scheme, employee rewards scheme, and employee assistance programme.

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Reception Class, supporting teaching and learning under the guidance of the Class Teacher. As part of the Early Years Team, you will work flexibly within our Early Years setting, including one-to-one support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) when applicable. Your role will also involve close collaboration with Nursery colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and cohesive care.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
  • Qualifications equivalent to NVQ level 2 or higher
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • High expectations with a drive to achieve excellent outcomes for all pupils
  • Experience in Early Years education and knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting children with SEND
