Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Overview of the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to support students with complex learning difficulties in our Special Education Needs school.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in accessing and engaging with the teacher-led curriculum and learning activities.
  • Support the implementation of individual education and behaviour plans.
  • Carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

This is a full-time, temporary to permanent role that requires a strong desire to work within a Special Education Needs environment.

About the School

The school is based in Aylesbury and provides education to children from the ages of 11-19. The school caters to 108 pupils and is accessible via public transport, offering Chiltern Railways and local buses. The school also offers on-site parking for car drivers.

Salary: £100 to £115.00 per day.
