Job Description

A great opportunity for a seasoned energy professional to join Marlin Selection Recruitment and lead a Trading Desk in a dynamic environment.

We are seeking a highly experienced energy trader to help build out a team and lead the effort to bridge trading and marketing. We require a candidate with at least five years of experience in the European energy markets. Primarily, the candidate will be trading customized order flow from clients via Futures/Options vs OTC Swaps/Options. Our main objective is to be a market maker and expand our suite of products for our clients to reduce their risks. We will be assisting the sales side to educate clients and facilitate order flow.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversees trading within our group.
  • Identifies and pursues arbitrage opportunities within the energy market.
  • Manages trading risks within the portfolio.
  • Maintains compliance with the division's risk policy and shares accountability for product overages.
  • Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

  • Manages energy flow.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Prior work experience on an energy trading desk.
  • Soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and organization.
  • Certifications required: TBD.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Authorized to work in the EU for any employer.
