Job Title: Part-time Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Location: Christchurch

Job Type: Fixed-term, Part-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic primary school teacher to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Christchurch. The ideal candidate will be motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with a passion for education and a heart for nurturing children.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to the range of learning needs within the class
  • Communicate and work closely with the job share teacher
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment, where each child feels valued and supported
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and accessible learning environment
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents

Requirements:

  • Teaching Certification (QTS /PGCE)
  • Solid knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Previous experience working in a primary school is essential – this can include placements at university
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
