Job Title: Part-Time KS2 Primary School Teacher

Are you a passionate primary school teacher seeking a part-time class teacher opportunity? We are currently partnering with a one-form entry mainstream primary school in search of a part-time Key Stage 2 class teacher to join their team. This fixed-term position will include working alongside and job share, offering a 3-day a week teaching role that enables a better work-life balance.

This role is ideal for a teacher looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The school is committed to providing high-quality education and has a strong focus on student well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and teach engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of primary school students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a calm and focused learning atmosphere
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to students and their parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student development and well-being

Requirements:
  • Teaching Certification (QTS/PGCE)
  • Solid knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Previous experience in a primary school (placements during training considered)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for nurturing young minds
