Job Title: Part-time Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

GSL Education is partnering with a mainstream primary school in Christchurch to find a dedicated and enthusiastic primary school teacher for a part-time Key Stage 2 class teacher position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive teacher to join our friendly and supportive teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a heart for nurturing children.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to the range of learning needs within the class.
  • Communicate and work closely with the job share teacher.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment, where each child feels valued and supported.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and accessible learning environment.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
Requirements:
  • Teaching Certification (QTS / PGCE).
  • Solid knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Previous experience working in a primary school is essential – this can include placements at university.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
