Cycle Together is a social enterprise dedicated to making cycling more accessible and inclusive for people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. We provide cycle training, bike mechanics workshops, and health and wellbeing workshops to help people develop skills, be more connected to their community, and tackle health inequalities.

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Programme Manager to work as a Consultant for a three-month project. The Consultant will oversee all aspects of Cycle Together's Training programme services, including programme development, delivery, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work alongside the Head Coach to recruit Ride Leaders and Cycling Training Coaches.
  2. Perform quality assurance checks of new coaches / ride leaders.
  3. Conduct spot checks at cycle training sessions to ensure quality delivery.
  4. Recruit contractors for workshops, including bike mechanics and health and wellbeing experts.
  5. Line management, coaching, and developing responsibilities for the coaching and ride-leader team.
  6. Work on other training or consultancy projects as required.
Project Management
  1. Maintain the Cycle Together Digital Platform for communication with participants and event management.
  2. Assist in the execution of various cycling and health and wellbeing learning initiatives.
  3. Review and update Digital Learning Platform resources ensuring content is accessible and engaging.
Coordination and Promotion
  1. Be the first point of contact for programme-related enquiries.
  2. Lead on partner relationship management.
  3. Manage the planning and execution of cycle training programmes.
Monitoring and Evaluation
  1. Ensure the programme captures all data required for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in Programme Coordination / Management.
  2. Experience of project management including planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on performance.
