Job Title: Laboratory QA Officer

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory QA Officer to join our team at Lava Labs. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our games.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing new features and bug fixes, compiling reports, and tracking progress. You will also be expected to create and execute test plans, analyze information to identify risk areas, and take ownership of the testing of new features from development to post-release.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with various teams to test new features and bug fixes
  2. Compile reports and track progress
  3. Proactively pick up testing requests
  4. Create and execute test plans
  5. Analyze information to identify risk areas
  6. Take ownership of the testing of new features from development to post-release
  7. Work closely with the Lead QA to improve QA processes
  8. Create and maintain test documentation
Requirements
  1. 2+ years of experience in QA
  2. Strong understanding of QA concepts and processes
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Points
  1. Experience working on mobile games
  2. Experience working with Freemium business models
  3. Experience leading a small team of testers
  4. Familiarity with JIRA and Test-Rail
