Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to lead our Ortho and Neuro/Spinal team. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the Operating Theatre Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of theatre professionals.
  • Provide clinical and technical assistance during surgeries.
  • Manage labour and costs associated with theatre operations.
  • Improve communication between consultants and theatre teams.
  • Clinical governance and quality improvements.
  • Staff performance and reviews.

Requirements:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a senior post.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Immediate Life Support provider.
  • Mentorship qualification.
