EQUITY seeks a Government Relations Officer to join our policy team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in policy or public affairs, particularly in the labour movement or creative industries.

As a Government Relations Officer, you will be responsible for building relationships with government officials and stakeholders, researching and analysing policy reports, and drafting briefings and consultations.

You will also work closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop and implement strategies to advance EQUITY's mission.

A typical day might include attending meetings with government officials, developing policy positions, and collaborating with external stakeholders to advance our goals.

The salary for this position is approximately £42,094.24 per year, based on a 35-hour workweek.

This role offers a competitive benefits package, including 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas office closure, and a defined benefit and contributory pension scheme.
