Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Autograph Recruitment as a Payroll Officer in our Newport office. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls for clients with 1 to 150 employees using Sage Payroll. You will also be expected to submit all HMRC returns and upload pension data to relevant pension providers.

Responsibilities
  • Process payrolls for clients with varying employee numbers and frequencies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of HMRC returns and pension data.
  • Address client payroll queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide holiday cover for the Payroll Manager as required.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Accountancy Practice Payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compliance, and software (Sage Payroll experience preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple payrolls efficiently.
Working Arrangements

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, subject to discussion.
