Automotive Component Characterization Engineer

Job Description:
">We are looking for an Automotive Component Characterization Engineer to join our team at Arrow McLaren IndyCar. In this role, you will be responsible for the characterization and sign-off of brake system components, suspension parts, and control systems.
">About the Role:
">The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering teams to develop and execute test plans, characterize and sign off components, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of test results and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Characterisation and sign-off of brake system components

- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need recent experience of working within a highly technical vehicle technology testing environment in Formula 1 and/or premium automotive racing car series. Experience in the use, set up, and operation of hydraulic/servo mechanical actuators and test rigs is also essential.
">What We Offer:
">We offer a comprehensive salary package of around £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including private healthcare, car schemes, life insurance, and generous pension contributions. The MTC is connected to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London Waterloo is a 30-minute train ride.
