SOAS, University of London is a leading institution in Higher Education, specialising in the study of Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East. To maintain its position as a leader in delivering exceptional education to students, it's essential that the university adapts and responds effectively to the changing world around us.
We're transforming our Recruitment Team within the Recruitment and HR Operations Team to support our strategic plans through 'Reimagining SOAS for the 21st Century'. The goal is to enhance our recruitment service for both Academic and Professional Services staff by introducing key metrics to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment specialist with considerable experience in managing high-volume recruitment campaigns, ideally within Higher Education, to join our small but busy team. You'll have the resilience and tenacity to manage conflicting priorities and a strong eye for detail.
You will take ownership of and proactively support the administration of all aspects of the recruitment process end-to-end for specified areas, focusing on customer experience from the perspective of both recruiting managers and applicants. Additionally, you'll provide key stakeholders with advice and guidance on SOAS policies and procedures, including UK Visas and Immigration related to recruitment.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates who are from working-class backgrounds, first-generation Higher Education attendees, Black, Asian, other minority ethnic groups, and underrepresented communities within the UK and beyond.
Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK or have limited leave to remain in the UK and associated right to work for the duration of their employment with SOAS, in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
The salary for this role is £35,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of the position in contributing to the success of our recruitment efforts. If you require any assistance with the application process, please contact us via our HR Contact Form.
