Senior Staff Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at a leading healthcare provider in the Walsall, West Midlands area.
About the Role:This is a rehabilitation and recovery service set within a modern, purpose-built mental health centre, specifically designed to support both males and females who have severe, complex and enduring mental health needs, which might include treatment-resistant conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain skills and knowledge to ensure care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
- Ensure the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes.
- Ensure clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used.
- Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.
- Take charge of the unit regularly and, in the absence of the management team, accept responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the unit.
- Help maintain the security of the building and its environment.
- A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice.
- An excellent salary of £37,992 - £39,223 per annum.
