Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a National Employability Training Specialist to join their team. This permanent role requires candidates to have a Full UK License and own transport.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Safeguarding: Ensure the well-being and safety of candidates during training programs.
  2. Establish a safe learning environment for staff and candidates.
  3. Deliver training and assessment for short course qualifications up to Level 2.
  4. Teach employability courses to unemployed individuals.
  5. Interpret knowledge requirements suitable for candidates at all levels.
  6. Support learners in achieving their goals.
  7. Embed topics such as safeguarding, Prevent, EDI, and British values into training programs.
  8. Incorporate maths, English, and ICT into the curriculum.
  9. Demonstrate practical applications of vocational programs.
  10. Create adaptable learning materials.
  11. Record and provide continuous feedback to learners.
  12. Maintain attendance records and track student progress.
  13. Share best practices and resources in training, learning, and assessment.
  14. Participate in standardization meetings.
  15. Ensure a safe training environment that meets Health and Safety standards.
  16. Perform administrative duties as required.
  17. Be flexible to support business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Hold a full teaching qualification.
  2. Understanding of Safeguarding and Prevent.
  3. Experience delivering L2 Lean organization management, Facilities, Cleaning, Employability, and Environmental training is ideal.
  4. Working towards or holding the A1/TAQA/D32/33 Assessor qualification.
  5. Experience training in an educational or workplace setting.
  6. Relevant industrial experience (warehouse/manufacturing/cleaning).
  7. Flexibility and adaptability to meet role demands.
  8. Understanding of compliance paperwork and reviews.
  9. Behave consistently with educational values.
  10. Commitment to continuous professional development.
Benefits:
  • The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
  • This role involves classroom-based work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, but may require additional hours for marking, travel, etc.
  • Travel away from home is essential and may involve staying in a hotel three out of four weeks, depending on the training location.
  • Mileage is reimbursed at 45p per mile, hotels are pre-booked, evening meal allowance up to £16, and mobile phone bill paid up to £50 a month.

$31,200 - $43,600 per annum based on national averages and benefits.
