**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic PE Department Lead to join our team at a reputable secondary school in London. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading teams and developing high-quality educational programs.

Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who can lead the development and implementation of the PE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a secure knowledge of PE theory, experience of teaching PE in a secondary school setting, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the PE curriculum
  • Promote the importance of physical education across the school
  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students
  • Maintain relationships with parents and the wider community

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience of teaching PE in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
