Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Readiness Manager to join our team at the Atomic Weapons Establishment. As an Operational Readiness Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and the operational readiness of our assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Readiness Planning: Develop and implement operational readiness plans to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Capability Management: Analyze and integrate the inputs, systems, processes, procedures, and personnel required to enable the asset to operate.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project sponsors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive cross-functional integration and stakeholder management.
- Experience: Credible experience in an operational, project management, or capability management context where achieving operational or capability readiness is a prime consideration.
- Skills: Strong project, capability, and/or operational management skills, with a deep understanding of capability management and operational readiness considerations.
- Education: Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Hybrid Working: This role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal arrangement, blending attendance in the workplace and working from home.
- Security Clearance: The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and must be willing to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
