Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Financial Assistant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Match invoices to stock receipts and reconcile supplier accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare the quarterly VAT return for management review and administration of VAT from imports/exports
- Produce remittance schedules from customer portals and resolve incomplete invoices manually
- Ensure invoices and payments received are correctly posted and perform ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Experience working within a similar accounting role is required
- Studying towards or fully AAT qualified is desirable
- Ability to work well under pressure and possess strong organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel is required
- Ability to work well alone or as part of a team is required
What We Offer
This role will offer a salary up to £27,000 depending on experience, as well as a benefits package including hybrid working, career progression opportunities, friendly working environment, free on-site parking, company pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, work social events and more.
