About Davies Group

Davies Group is a leading provider of financial services, and we're seeking a skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions, including receipt of funds, allocation to claims, and payment to contractors
  • Manage and reconcile supplier statements, ensuring accurate and timely payments
  • Produce invoices for clients and issue remittances to contractors
  • Perform credit control and aged debt management
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and issues

Requirements

  • Strong Excel and Word skills, with experience in financial software and systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach
