Senior Mammography Specialist

MedicsPro is seeking an experienced Mammographer (Band 7) to work at a busy hospital in Harlow. The successful candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This position is ongoing.
Key Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Current registration with the HCPC
- Current references covering the previous 3 years
- Relevant qualifications required
Key Responsibilities
- Operating mammography equipment to take images of the breast
- Preparing images for evaluation by radiologist
- Recording patient information and results of examination
- Ensuring equipment is operated safely and efficiently
- Ensuring quality control of mammography equipment
- Using x-ray technology to get x-ray images of breast tissue, as requested by doctors or physicians, in order to detect lumps or other abnormalities that signify the early stages of cancer or other diseases
- Preparing and positioning patients for the procedures and analyzing patient clinical history
