MedicsPro is seeking an experienced Mammographer (Band 7) to work at a busy hospital in Harlow. The successful candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This position is ongoing and offers a competitive pay rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mammography equipment to take images of the breast
  • Prepare images for evaluation by radiologists
  • Record patient information and results of examination
  • Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently
  • Ensure quality control of mammography equipment
  • Use x-ray technology to obtain x-ray images of breast tissue, as requested by doctors or physicians, to detect lumps or other abnormalities that signify the early stages of cancer or other diseases
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures and analyze patient clinical history
