Senior Occupational Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Home First Team as a Senior Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centered care, preventing inpatient admissions, and supporting clients to remain in the community where there are the best outcomes for recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to assessments of service users to establish whether they can benefit from occupational therapy intervention.
- Undertake specialist ADL assessments and make subsequent recommendations for further occupational therapy intervention.
- Liaise directly with social care and community occupational therapists to ensure any recommendations made following ADL assessments are communicated.
- Make decisions on the level of intervention required and undertake treatment planning.
- Communicate agreed treatment/care plans to multi-disciplinary team colleagues and partnership agencies.
Requirements
- HCPC Registration
- OT BSc/MSc Degree
- At least 2 years post qualification experience in a relevant service
- Experience of carrying out individual interventions and group work
