About the Role

At Scrumconnect, we are seeking a highly skilled Agile User Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for driving user-centred design approaches to consistently meet user needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and collaborate with other professionals in a multi-disciplinary team to improve the user experience and outcomes for users.
  2. Drive a user-centred design approach to consistently meet user needs.
  3. Align design vision and activities in partnership with fellow designers, product managers, and engineering peers.
  4. Utilise both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions.
  5. Plan, organise, and run user research sessions.
  6. Ensure consideration for accessibility and inclusion.
Requirements
  1. Analysis and synthesis: Help teams apply a range of methods to analyse research data and synthesise findings. Engage sceptical colleagues in analysis and synthesis.
  2. Inclusive research: Help teams understand the diversity of users of government services. Include all kinds of users in appropriate research activities. Advocate for inclusive practices and help teams design and deliver accessible services that work for all users.
  3. Research skills: Assist teams in adopting a wide range of user research methods. Plan user research for services with challenging user needs and complex user journeys. Advise colleagues on the choice and application of research methods to assure best practice. Have knowledge about the technologies used to build and operate digital services. Collaborate closely with colleagues in different digital disciplines.
