Job Summary

We are seeking an Environmental Hazard Specialist to join our team at SRG. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient processing, storage, and transfer of hazardous waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and test all incoming hazardous waste using various techniques, including titration, pH, and flashpoint.
  • Ensure all hazardous waste is correctly labelled and documented according to company regulations.
  • Contribute to site health and safety standards by following proper procedures and wearing PPE.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient processing, storage, and transfer of waste.
Requirements:
  • Minimum HNC in Chemistry or related field.
  • Prior experience in a waste environment, preferably with hazardous waste handling.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Good work ethic, hands-on approach, and willingness to learn.
