Commercial Growth Executive

We are seeking a talented Commercial Growth Executive to join our team at Career Makers. As a Sales and Commercial leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role involves setting strategic sales goals, implementing effective strategies, and building strong customer relationships to boost revenue growth.

You will be responsible for identifying and researching potential clients using various channels such as cold calling, networking, and social media, and qualifying leads to ensure alignment with company criteria. You will develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, align sales strategies with overall company objectives, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system. Additionally, you will prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates on progress toward targets, monitor client information, sales opportunities, and market trends, and collaborate closely with other departments such as purchasing, engineering, and production to ensure cohesive sales strategies. A proven track record of success in sales, ideally within a manufacturing industry, with experience in lead generation, sales presentations, and closing deals, is essential. Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, are also required. Proficient in IT tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with exceptional organizational skills, relevant experience within an SME manufacturing environment is preferred, 5+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally within manufacturing, degree-level education is preferred but not essential. The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
